Description from the seller
TEAC V-80 (released in 1981)
Here is a fairly rare "semi-professional" cassette deck.
A stereo cassette deck equipped with a newly designed recording and playback head.
This head, optimized by a 3-head system, improves the crimp between the head and the tape and ensures smooth tape travel.
It is equipped with a 4-digit electronic counter with a fluorescent lamp (FL) driven by an LSI. In addition to its classic counting function, this counter offers a TRT (Tape Run Time) mode displaying the recording and playback duration. The counting function is stored in the integrated circuit, so the display remains active even when the mode is engaged.
The Memory Stop function combines several counters in TRT mode.
A bi-colored FL bar graph VU meter, driven by the LSI, also serves as a peak meter.
A light indicator on the mode selector confirms its operating state.
Noise reduction is provided by Dolby B.
A Rec Mute recording cut-off mechanism is built in.
A sleep timer is also present.
Finally, a 3-position tape selector is available.
With output volume.

Its features are excellent, comparable to those of the previous C-1, C-2 and C-3 series: three heads, two motors
