Thorens - TD-165 Turntable

The famous Thorens TD 165, a classic with clear, stable sound and a very neutral character. The musical characteristics are very good.

As can be seen in the photos, this is a nicely preserved specimen; there are almost no signs of use. The dust cover is also in good condition. Thanks to repairs to the hinge points, the dust cover is now 100% functional again.

Equipped with the beautiful Philips GP400 cartridge with a good stylus.

Comes with a NEW drive belt.

The Thorens TD-165 is a belt-driven turntable. It is equipped with a sturdy AC motor and a very heavy platter weighing almost 3 kg. The subchassis, consisting of the platter and tonearm, is suspended by 3 springs, so the player is less affected by motor vibrations and external disturbances. This is one of the factors that contribute to the great sound Thorens is famous for.
