Description from the seller
An icon born to compete. Official document and representation of the BMW M3 E30, introduced in 1986 as BMW Motorsport’s most radical response to the Group A demands of DTM and touring car championships. It wasn’t simply a sporty version of the 3 Series: it was a car conceived from the very first sketch to dominate race tracks and translate that experience to the road.
The BMW M3 E30 is the very definition of homologation turned to legend. Its widened body, muscular fender arches, more raked windshield, and the unmistakable rear spoiler were not aesthetic gestures, but technical solutions designed to optimize aerodynamics and high‑speed stability. Every detail —from the flatter rear window to the specific panels— served a clear objective: to win.
Under the hood lay the mythical four‑cylinder S14, an atmospheric 2.3‑liter engine (subsequently 2.5 in Evolution versions) capable of surpassing 200 HP in its early variants and reaching even higher figures in special editions. It revved with a mechanical ferocity, delivering power progressively and precisely, paired with a manual transmission that demanded the driver's total involvement.
Its dynamic balance, communicative steering, and pure rear‑wheel drive offered a direct, analog driving experience, without electronic filters. The M3 E30 wasn’t driven; it was piloted. It was a car that rewarded technique, sensitivity, and commitment at the wheel.
In competition, it accumulated titles in the DTM, the European Touring Car Championship, and multiple national championships, becoming the most successful touring car of its era. On the street, it became a symbol of character, German precision, and uncompromising sporting spirit.
Today, the BMW M3 E30 is much more than a classic: it is an absolute benchmark, a cult piece that represents the pure essence of BMW Motorsport and the golden age of analog sports cars.
Comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for transport without incidents until you have it in your hands. The exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
Large-format print with gallery quality. Museum‑grade cotton canvas paper, 340 g/m2.
FRAME INCLUDED, you’ll only have to hang it on the wall. Shipped in a wooden crate to prevent any impact. See the photos.
We ship worldwide, very well protected via UPS/DHL/FedEx with insurance and tracking, the day after payment. You can visit our profile to see other precious Porsche items we have available!
