About 19 solid silver miniatures from the 1970s–1980s, mostly hallmarked 800, weighing 143 g in total as part of a three‑level pyramid display case in brass and glass, in excellent condition and unsigned.
Description from the seller
Splendid and richly themed collection consisting of about 19 miniature sculptures in solid silver (almost all hallmarked and stamped with title 800, except the Mexican sombrero made in sterling silver 925).
All objects date from the golden era of goldsmithing collecting and vintage display cases (the 1970s and 1980s). The collection is entirely housed inside its original display case: a sought-after geometric three-level pyramid in perfect modern design style, made with brass profiles and transparent glass walls.
The collection stands out for its high-quality goldsmithing craftsmanship, characterized by meticulous openwork filigree and hand-made movable elements.
The lot includes 19 subjects divided by thematic streams:
Headgear historical and regional (3 pieces):
1 large Mexican sombrero of high imported craftsmanship, signed by the registered artisan "ML6" (Mexico City, silver 925)
1 standing bowler hat with cane, famous cinematic tribute to Charlie Chaplin (silver 800)
1 academic/degree toque with original suspension ring (silver 800)
Musical instruments (3 pieces):
1 guitar enhanced by a splendid and complex openwork full filigree design,
1 violin finely detailed,
1 harp of exceptional and rare craftsmanship, with microscopic cords woven, mounted and tied individually by hand
Nature, Fauna and Good Luck (8 pieces):
4 collectible butterflies with wings entirely worked in light filigree, silver lace style
3 lucky turtles characterized by a filigreed not solid shell
1 extraordinary and spectacular grape bunch of art, made with all individual grapes movable, swaying and independent (mounted on micro-articulated pins)
Antique items and Transport (5 pieces):
2 boats / sailing vessels with details
2 bells enriched by geometric filigree embroidery on the body in silver
1 vintage phone from the era with faithful reproduction of the handset and dial
Total weight of the silver-only objects: 143 grams
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina that highlights the recesses, moving details and the fine openwork of the miniatures.
Structure and closure of the pyramid: Total structural integrity, shelves and glass walls intact without cracks or chipping. The display case, not counted in the total weight, preserves its splendid and characteristic original vintage brass lock: a refined mechanical latch system where a smooth straight metal pin runs through the loops to lock the opening door
An elite furnishings set, complete, fascinating and ready to be displayed.
