Original vintage Hitachi D-815 desk fan, manufactured by Hitachi Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan.

A striking example of Japanese industrial design, featuring a red metal motor housing, three red fan blades, and a distinctive spherical chrome-plated metal protective grille. Thanks to its compact dimensions and graphic styling, the piece is today also attractive as a decorative vintage design object.

The original factory sticker is still present and reads Hitachi Ltd. Tokyo Japan, model D-815, 8" Desk Fan and 220–240 V / 50–60 Hz.

The item is in original vintage condition. The metal cage and other components show signs of age and use, including local oxidation and discoloration. The cord, plug, and inline switch are present. See the photos for a good impression of the condition.
