The pieces are the Mary Stuart set by Marinakis Bros, a Greek manufacturer of high quality. The pieces are made of bronze and gilded with gold and silver. They are large in size; the king measures 10 cm, the pawn 6 cm, the knight 9 cm, with a base diameter for all of 3.5 cm. They are very heavy; the king weighs 400 grams and the pawn 100 grams, for a total weight of the set of pieces of approximately 7 kg!!!!!.

The board is a bronze slab, very original, with dimensions of 45 cm long, 45 cm wide and 2 cm thick, with relief engravings and feet. In some areas it shows the patina typical of aged bronze from the passage of time, which gives it its own personality.

The combination of these pieces in gold and silver color, on the bronze board, creates a set with a beautiful visual effect, but judge for yourself based on the extensive photographic reportage.

The whole set is in very good condition, with considerable weight, around 10-11 kg approximately.
