Beautiful and atmospheric vintage table lamp executed in the distinctive, luxurious Hollywood Regency style, presumably from a prominent French or Belgian bronze atelier from the period 1960–1970. Specimens of this quality and finish are very rarely offered.
The centerpiece of this refined design is formed by a layered structure of beautifully detailed, hand-cast brass leaves that rise in steps around the central rod. The leaves feature a beautiful, organic relief texture and leaf veins, giving a lively and natural effect. The lamp rests on a heavy, classically ornamented cylindrical base with subtle grooves (cannelures) and relief edges, completing the neoclassical character.
