Centrepiece - Onyx - Sculptural centerpiece

Some home objects fill a space; others give it character. This sculptural centerpiece tabletop belongs to the second category. Made from a single solid piece of banded calcite onyx, with a beautiful natural pattern in cream, gray, beige and honey-toned nuances.
The smoothly polished bowl contrasts beautifully with the organically finished outer surface and gives the piece a pronounced Mid-Century Modern / Organic Modern character, with a subtle Brutalist vibe.
Due to its generous size, it is especially suitable as a centerpiece on a coffee table, dining table, console, or sideboard. Also usable as a large catch-all for small accessories. For the best presentation, the piece is best displayed with the bowl largely free of contents.
