Splendid and eccentric vintage Italian artistic ceramic table service, consisting of a large carafe/bottle for wine or water with sculptural and modern design and 4 matched mugs/glasses.

Made and painted entirely by hand by the famous FIMA (Fabbrica Italiana Maioliche Artistiche) Deruta workshop, renowned for artisanal quality and innovative design in the heart of Umbria.

The service stands out for its dynamically Mid-Century/Art Deco inspired lines, with a twisted, sleek handle in contrast in black and white, enhanced by geometric patterns, diamonds and polychrome relief details (black, red and white) on a creamed/light straw-yellow background with subtle striations.

The carafe bears the original hand-painted mark on the bottom: "FIMA DERUTA".

A visually striking set, perfect for daily use, as a decorative element, or as a collectible for lovers of Italian artistic ceramics of the 20th century.
