Precious set of 5 rare pieces of Mapping & Webb travel necessaire in crystal and silver

We are looking at a 'hybrid' set of extraordinary collectible interest. Often the noblewomen of the era purchased flasks in crystal and sterling silver from the most prestigious international luxury houses (such as the London-based Mappin & Webb), to then have the service customized, repaired, or integrated with new coordinated pieces (such as the powder jar lid) at the trusted silversmiths in their own city, in this case the renowned Enzo Viganò workshop in Milan.

The set combines the geometric purity and refinement of the early twentieth century with the authentic heraldry of one of the historic Italian aristocracy families, the nobili De Facci Negrati of Venice.

It still contains the perfumes inside, though empty, powder and fragrances. Sealed in a box for more than 100 years!!
