French Napoleon III Liquor Cabinet – 19th Century

Refined French liquor cabinet from the Napoleon III period, dating to the second half of the 19th century. Crafted in ebonised wood and richly decorated with floral marquetry in brass, warm-toned woods and iridescent mother-of-pearl.

The serpentine case opens through articulated panels, revealing a spacious black-lacquered compartment. The original lock, key and metal fittings are preserved.

Although the removable bottle-and-glass fitting is no longer present, the cabinet remains a highly decorative object of fine cabinetmaking and considerable aesthetic appeal. It may be displayed as a collector’s piece or used as an elegant storage or bar cabinet.

Dimensions: approximately 27 × 32 × 24.5 cm.

The item shows age-related wear, scratches, small losses and traces of use, all clearly documented in the photographs. Carefully packed and shipped with insurance.
