French Lantern clock 

A single-hand (early clock) from the late 18th century

Spindle movement with a short pendulum at the back.


The clock is signed on the front, in the middle of the tin numeral ring

"Beuriot  a Vallemont" 

Both the running and striking mechanisms are powered by a lead weight.

Klok is gesigneerd aan de voorzijde in het midden van de tinnen cijferring

French lantern clock from circa 1750–1800, with a mechanical movement, one day power reserve, half‑hour striking on a bell, made of brass and tin, signed “Beuriot a Vallemont” on the tin dial ring, in good used condition and in working order, measuring 320 mm high by 200 mm wide by 170 mm deep and weighing 10 kg.
