Pair of chairs – circa 1960

Beautiful modernist design characterized by a sculptural backrest in bent wood with a wide central opening, a padded seat covered in fabric, and slightly flared tapered legs.

Dimensions of each chair:

- Overall height: 80 cm
- Width: 42 cm
- Depth: about 42 cm
- Seat height: about 45 cm

Good vintage general condition with normal signs of use and age, notably some wear and small chips visible on the wood. The undersides of the two seats have a different finish, with a dust cover under one and absent under the other. See the numerous photographs that are an integral part of the description.

Beau dessin moderniste caractérisé par un dossier sculptural en bois courbé avec large ouverture centrale, une assise rembourrée recouverte de tissu et des pieds fuselés légèrement évasés.

Bon état vintage général avec traces normales d’usage et du temps, notamment quelques usures et petits éclats visibles sur le bois. Les dessous des deux assises présentent une finition différente, avec une toile de propreté présente sous l’une et absente sous l’autre.
