The Nikon Micro-NIKKOR 200mm f/4 was one of the first 200mm macro lenses ever made, and its Internal Focusing (IF) design means the barrel never extends or rotates while focusing, keeping the working distance and balance constant all the way from infinity to 1:2 macro. Built like a classic Ai-S telephoto with a smooth, all-metal focus throw and a removable tripod collar, it has long been a favourite among nature and product photographers who want true macro reach without giving up handling quality. A wonderful lens to bring back into active use on a modern mirrorless body via an adapter.
