A special collector’s release created to celebrate 30 years of the Pokémon Card Game.

Released in Japan on September 16, 2026, “30th CELEBRATION” is much more than a standard expansion. It looks back at three decades of Pokémon TCG history while introducing new artwork and special rarities created for this milestone anniversary.

One of the highlights of the set is the return of 30 memorable cards representing different eras of Pokémon Card Game history, recreated in special anniversary versions. These include iconic cards featuring Pokémon such as Charizard, Lugia, Shining Celebi, Rayquaza EX, M Gardevoir EX, Pikachu & Zekrom GX, Mew VMAX and Arceus VSTAR.

The expansion also introduces the new FUR – Futuristic Rare rarity. Among its showcase cards are Mew ex FUR and Mewtwo ex FUR, featuring striking futuristic and multicoloured artwork created by Japanese graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN especially for the 30th anniversary.

Another unique anniversary feature is Pikachu. 30 different holographic Pikachu cards were illustrated by 30 different artists, creating a special collection within the set itself.

In this way, 30th CELEBRATION brings together the past, present and future of the Pokémon Card Game — historic cards return in anniversary form, while completely new artwork and rarities represent a new generation of Pokémon collecting.

The set has also attracted exceptionally strong demand in Japan since its release. Due to the enormous interest surrounding Pokémon’s 30th anniversary and limited retail availability, sealed boxes are currently very difficult to obtain through normal retail channels in Japan, despite the product having only just been released.

This strong popularity in its home market makes a factory-sealed Japanese box especially interesting for international Pokémon collectors.
