Antique Molassine snuff box - with a large bull's head and farm animals.
Made to promote the Molassine factory and its products.
Molassine was animal feed suitable for all farm animals.
Origin is Greenwich, dating circa 1910 to 1920.

The text on the box reads: Molassine Registered Trademark, Horse food, Molassine Dairy & Pig meal, Calf meal & Lamb feed, registered trademark.

The front of the box features a bull's head and a crown with a pig head on it, together with a rearing horse, a leaping bull and a background of corn ears. The back of the box is decorated with a sheaf of elegant flowers on long stems.

The box is in neat and used condition. Normal aging and signs of use.
