An impressive large specimen from the historic Cozzo Disi Mine, Casteltermini, Agrigento, Sicily, Italy, combining native sulfur with an unusual and highly sculptural formation of alveolar aragonite.
The aragonite develops a complex honeycomb-like structure, with cavities and irregular surfaces partially covered by the characteristic bright yellow sulfur of Cozzo Disi.
