Ancient Dogon door lock from Mali. Its rich, deep patina captivates us at first glance. The form is interesting, dynamic and powerful. The lock is surmounted by an animal, the head and tail are missing. It is a beautiful sculpture that served for decades; the patina and the wear of the wood attest to it. A beautiful, authentic antique collectible piece. Circa 1930.

Ancienne serrure de porte Dogon du Mali. La patine riche et profonde, elle nous captive au premier regard. La forme est intéressante, dynamique et puissante. La serrure est surmonté d'un animal, la tête et la queue sont manquantes. C'est une belle sculpture qui a servi durant des décennies, la patine et l'usure du bois l'atteste. Une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique. Circa 1930.
