Beautiful Fon or Nago statuette from Benin. The figure is smiling, the gaze is lit. On its cheeks are ethnic scarifications typical of the Fon, Nago, and Yoruba of Benin. The figure has no legs. Its arms are articulated. It is surely a marionette used in dances or ceremonies. A striking presence for this atypical object. A beautiful collectible piece of ancient and authentic Voodoo worship. Circa 1960.

Le personnage n'a pas de jambes. Ces bras sont articulés. C'est surement une marionette utilisé lors de danses ou de ceremonies. Belle présence pour cet objet atypique. Une belle pièce de collection de culte Vaudou ancienne et authentique. Circa 1960.
