Description from the seller
Richard Ginori coffee service in the Bavaria shape, from the 1960s, very refined with a silver bath finish and delicate foliate ornament. The service consists of 1 coffee pot, 1 sugar bowl, 1 milk jug, 6 coffee cups, and 6 saucers. Only one cup, shown in the photo, shows signs of wear along the rim over time. The rest is in good condition. Richard Ginori needs no introduction as a company, but for the record the company was founded on October 11, 1896 from the merger of the Ceramics Society Richard, from Lombardy, with the Doccia Manufactory of Marquis Carlo Ginori, founded in 1737 in Doccia (Florence). It is famous worldwide for porcelain, production of which is still located in Sesto Fiorentino, now owned by Gucci. All pieces bear the Richard Ginori mark.
The cups have a diameter of 7.5 cm and a height of 4.5 cm without the handle (about 1.5 cm more with the handle). Saucers have a diameter of 11.5 cm, milk jug diameter 12 cm, height 9.5 cm, coffee pot diameter 19 cm, height 19 cm, sugar bowl diameter 14 cm, height 11.5 cm; all measurements include the handles.
