Beautiful Zeiss Ikon Simplex (511/2) Bakelite Folding Camera
Stunning Zeiss Ikon Simplex (model 511/2) from the 1930s. This iconic folding camera is made of dark brown bakelite and is in good condition.
The bakelite shines beautifully and shows none of the typical hairline cracks or damages.
The camera has been mechanically tested. The Telma shutter operates smoothly by ear and all shutter speeds (including the B and T settings) function properly. The folding mechanism works smoothly and the leather bellows are fully light-tight and flexible. The Zeiss Ikon Nettar lens is clear and clean. Even the original leather carrying strap is still completely intact and in good condition.
A top piece for the display cabinet, but thanks to the tested operation also ready for analog photography with 120 roll film (6x9 cm frames).
