AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
I am offering for sale, from a collection dissolution, a Colonial Barbie doll from the “American Stories Series” of 1995 (Mattel 12578).
Colonial Barbie wears a lovely navy blue dress with white trim and red bows. Her ruffled cap is also adorned with a red ribbon and bow. The package also includes a pair of flat shoes, a framed embroidery with an eagle motif, a picture book, a brush, and a doll stand.
Colonial Barbie is MIB (Mint in Box) and unplayed with. She has only been removed from the box once and for a short time stood in a display case, dust-protected. On the front of the apron there are a few light stains or dye transfers from the embroidery motif. Additionally, the white collar of the dress shows a slight aging-induced yellowing. Barbie comes with all of her original accessories.
The original packaging shows creases as well as age- and storage-related signs of wear.
Barbie originates from a well-kept, pet-free non-smoking household.
The last photo comes from Mattel’s catalog.
