Professionally shipped – more than 950 five-star reviews worldwide.
This large sculpture of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart shows the special bond between Mary and Christ and refers to the Sacred Heart as the source of love and grace. Mary is depicted as a guide and intercessor who leads humanity toward the loving heart of Jesus.
Mary stands with arms outstretched behind the young, blessing Christ, who bears the Sacred Heart on his chest. Barefoot she tramples the serpent, symbolizing her victory over original sin.
Height about 54 cm; white-painted plaster, clearly used and worn, probably from years of use in a chapel or other religious setting, with general signs of aging and wear, local chips, flaking and paint loss, mainly on the pedestal; Jesus' right arm was repaired in the past after a break; signed on the back of the pedestal, but not legible.
