Identification details:

Avers (Face): Bust of Honorius in right profile, draped, armored and diademed. Legible legend: DN HONORIVS PF AVG (Dominus Noster Honorius Pius Felix Augustus).

Revers (Back): The emperor standing to the right holding a standard (labarum) and a Victory on a globe, trampling a bound captive underfoot. Legend: VICTORIA AVGGG.

Atelier & Exergue: The letters R - V on the reverse on either side of the emperor designate the Ravenna workshop. The exergue at the bottom indicates COMOB.

* Weight and diameter: 4.47 g and 21.57 mm, which exactly corresponds to the theoretical perfect weight of a Roman solidus (theoretical ~4.50 g for 21–22 mm).
