The rubber cover on the side of the body is missing. The camera is otherwise in very clean condition.
Optics
There is fungus, around 2-3mm across, on the front and middle elements. This has no effect at all on the photographs taken, so you can buy with confidence.

Description
The Canon EOS 40D is a 10.1MP APS-C DSLR with a magnesium alloy body, 6.5fps continuous shooting and a 9-point all-cross-type autofocus system. It was the model that brought live view and sensor cleaning to Canon's semi-professional line, and its large pentaprism viewfinder and top LCD panel still make it a comfortable camera to work with. It comes here with the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II, a stabilised telephoto zoom covering 88-400mm equivalent.
