Leitz Leica Compur Model B Dial Set Sluiter Late Batch Analogue camera

From a private collection offered a rare Leica camera:

Leica Compur with Dial Set shutter.

The Leica Compur with Dial Shutter was produced from 1926 to 1928 with serial numbers between 5701 and 13163. This example has number 13132. This is a late example from the second-to-last batch in 1928, with late-type vulcanite and without arrows on the knobs.

Usage marks, including lacquer wear, are visible, but the camera has not been repainted or updated. Repainted examples are easier to find, but we prefer this example. Technically the camera is in perfect working order. The shutter works excellently. Complete with the correct base plate and a matching early film cassette and film spool.

Great camera that belongs in any Leica collection.
