Christofle & Cie – 24-piece fish cutlery for 12 people (Service à poisson) – ca. 1900 – Silver-plated – In original case
A complete and elegant 24-piece silver-plated fish cutlery set for 12 people (service à poisson 24 pieces), manufactured by the renowned Parisian silver house Christofle & Cie around the turn of the century (Belle Époque, ca. 1900).
The forks and knives feature a clean, timeless design and are adorned at the base of the tines and on the blade with a refined, stylized engraving. The set is supplied in the original leatherette case with a crocodile print finish, copper clasps, and an inner lid lined with silk/satin bearing the gilded Christofle & Cie Orfèvres Paris hallmark.

Condition:
In very fine, well-maintained condition with only minor, superficial signs of age and use consistent with its age. The silver layer is tight and gleaming; there is no signs of wear-through (desargenture). The cassette closes well and remains in authentic condition with appropriate patina.
