Centrepiece or presentation dish in silvered metal and crystal in Art Deco style (circa 1920–1930).

PUNCH MARKS

ARGENTOR: This is the name of the famous silvered metal manufacturer Argentor-Werke Rust & Hetzel, based in Vienna (Austria). Active at the end of the 19th century and the early 20th century, it was highly renowned for its Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces.
A.S.: This mark indicates Argentor Silber (silvered by Argentor) or designates the quality of the silvering used by the house.
Silvered metal: Filigree mount with geometric and wavy lines typical of the Art Deco period, with integrated handles.
Crystal / Molded-pressed glass: The central crystal bowl (with a star or rosette pattern cut at the bottom) fits perfectly into the metal mount.
No cracks or chips in the crystal.
Small bubble in the crystal (insignificant).
Total width with handles: 28 cm
Silvering still clearly present.
