GENERAL:
For sale is a meticulously maintained Mercedes-Benz 320 SL (W129) from January 1994 with a mileage of 156,300 kilometers. It is an accident-free, German vehicle with a complete service history, handed over with three original keys and its full onboard tool kit.
BODY & PAINT:
The body is in flawless condition and completely free of rust, dents, or scratches. The car presents itself in its glossy original paint in a stylish gray-beige metallic finish. No welding work has been carried out on the sheet metal. The rubber seals are supple all around and in perfect condition. The fabric roof appears visually and technically perfect and completely watertight. The original hardtop in body color included with the vehicle has hardly been used and is in like-new condition.
TECHNICS:
Under the hood sits the sought-after 3.2-liter inline-six (M104) with four-valve technology, paired with a silk-smooth automatic transmission. The engine starts reliably both cold and warm, runs extremely smoothly, and does not lose oil at any point. Brakes and transmission also operate flawlessly. The car is fully road-ready; there is no maintenance backlog.
About a year ago, the control unit, the throttle body, and the engine harness (electrical wiring loom) that is typically prone to issues for this age were properly renewed. The brake pads were replaced two years ago, and the SL has hardly been driven since. An unused spare wheel is located in its place.
INTERIOR:
The interior is in an excellent, well above-average maintained condition with only minimal, age-related signs of use. The seats are upholstered in original beige-brown leather, which remains elastic and shows no significant wear, perfectly harmonizing with the elegant gray-beige metallic exterior color.
