B Porcellana - Drinking set (22) - Porcelain, Gold plated

Elegant coffee service in fine porcelain, 22 pieces, PORCELLANA. Year: 1960s–1970s. The set includes: a large coffee pot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, ten cups and ten saucers. The whole is adorned with a particularly refined decoration on a white background, consisting of a network of botanical motifs and arabesques in black, gray, and gold, complemented by gold borders and delicate polychrome figurative scenes depicting people in a pastoral setting. The handles and some elements of the pieces are gilded. The lids also feature decorative gilded motifs. The figurative decoration is especially visible on the coffee pot and at the center of the saucers. The overall presentation is very decorative and homogeneous. The pieces bear on the reverse a green mark featuring the letter “B” in a shield along with the inscription “PORCELLANA”. The exact manufacturer could not be identified with certainty from the mark alone and is therefore presented here as an unidentified manufacturer.
