Vase - Airin - Earthenware - Amphora Art Deco

This Art Deco amphora-shaped vase comes from the famous Belgian manufacturer Faïencerie de Thulin, and bears the distinctive mark of its premium Airain range. The object features a bulbous, molded body adorned with two large, stylized scroll side handles that extend gracefully from the neck down to the belly. The piece rests on an integrated tripod base that emphasizes its slender silhouette. The decoration is characterized by a remarkable drip glaze with flowing enamels typical of the brand, revealing spectacular runs of intense emerald green and sulphur yellow hues. These vibrant pictorial effects stand out with striking contrast against a deep, glossy graphite-black background. This piece has no form number incised into the material, while the upper side of the vase bears the original silver label with the name Airain enclosed in an ornate cartouche. The dimensions of this highly decorative object are 32 cm in total height with a maximum width of approximately 19 cm across the handles.
