Fascinating decomposable human anatomical model.

The model is designed as a true three-dimensional anatomy to explore, made up of many removable elements that allow you to progressively discover the internal structures of the body.

Particularly striking is the disassemblable head. One half of the face shows the facial musculature, while the other preserves the external features. When removed, it reveals a suggestive sagittal section of the head, with the skull, inner cavities and cerebral structures; the brain is also made of separable elements.

The torso also allows for the removal and individual observation of numerous internal organs, including the lungs, heart, liver and intestinal system, progressively revealing the underlying anatomical elements.

Also very pleasing is the tactile finish: the different structures are relief-molded and painted in different colors, with details of blood vessels, muscles, tissues and anatomical sections.

The specimen preserves a nice patina of use, with small traces, surface variations and imperfections that give it character and attest to its nature as a lived educational object. It has not been restored or artificially brought back to new conditions: the marks present are clearly documented in the photographs.

With its approximately 50 cm in height and the original black base, it has a decidedly greater presence than the small modern decorative anatomical models.
Today it is a particularly interesting object not only for those who collect scientific instrumentation and educational materials, but also as an unusual decorative element: perfect for a Wunderkammer, a study, a library, a collection of scientific curiosities, a cinematic or photographic set.

Displayed fully assembled it has an almost sculptural presence; when dismantled it reveals the complexity and charm of its didactic construction.
