Description from the seller
General
A beautifully presented 2007 Audi R8 4.2 FSI V8 quattro – an early example of Audi’s iconic first-generation supercar.
Powered by the naturally aspirated 4.2-litre FSI V8, the R8 combines an exceptional engine sound, impressive performance and quattro all-wheel drive with the timeless design that made the original R8 an instant modern classic.
This example stands out for its attractive overall condition, relatively low mileage and well-maintained character. Nearly two decades after its introduction, the first-generation V8 R8 remains a truly special analogue-era sports car and one of the most distinctive performance models ever produced by Audi.
Bodywork & Paint
The bodywork and paintwork present very well for the car’s age and mileage, with only normal signs of use.
During its life, the car received some minor cosmetic attention following typical everyday use. On one occasion, a tyre failure resulted in light contact with a roadside barrier. This was not a serious accident, and the airbags are original and have never been deployed.
Overall, the exterior remains very attractive and preserves the unmistakable, timeless appearance of the first-generation Audi R8.
Technical Condition
The car has been regularly serviced and maintained with attention to its mechanical condition.
The available history includes servicing by Audi specialists and an authorised Audi Service Centre. Maintenance carried out over the years includes scheduled servicing, engine oil and filter changes and air-conditioning maintenance.
At approximately 70,000 km, the clutch was replaced according to the previous owner. More recently, the rear shock absorbers were replaced and the car underwent general servicing, including an engine oil change and routine maintenance.
The naturally aspirated 4.2-litre FSI V8, quattro all-wheel-drive system and R-Tronic transmission provide the distinctive driving experience for which the original R8 is known.
Interior
The interior is well preserved and presents very nicely for its age and mileage.
The seats, dashboard, centre console, controls and trim remain in good overall condition, showing only normal signs of use. The cabin retains its original character and the driver-focused atmosphere of the first-generation R8.
Documentation & History
The car is accompanied by documentation relating to its history and maintenance.
The Audi is currently registered and insured and is ready for its new owner. The buyer will receive all available vehicle and registration documents required to register the car in their country.
Overall, this is an attractive and well-preserved early Audi R8, combining the naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8, quattro all-wheel drive, unmistakable first-generation design and the special character that has made the original R8 increasingly appreciated by enthusiasts.
The car can be viewed and collected in Katowice, Poland.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
