Ancient Greek Hellenistic one-handled ceramic bowl, wheel-made terracotta with red interior bands, circa 4th–3rd century BC, height 39 mm, diameter 89 mm, length including handle 110 mm, weight 90.29 g, complete and in very good condition with surface wear, minor abrasions and pigment traces.

Greek Hellenistic One-Handled Bowl

Description:
Small wheel-made terracotta bowl with a rounded hemispherical body, slightly defined rim, low ring foot and a single horizontal loop handle. The light buff terracotta surface is decorated on the interior with simple concentric red-painted bands, including a broad circular band surrounding a smaller central ring. Traces of reddish pigment are also visible along the rim and handle. Fine horizontal wheel marks remain visible across the exterior.
Condition:
Complete and in good condition. Surface wear, minor abrasions and scattered mineral deposits consistent with age. The painted decoration is partially preserved. No obvious restoration visible from the photographs.
Provenance:
French private collection, acquired in the 1970s.
