Historic opaline vase in black while-encased glass, originally designed in 1932 by Paolo Venini. The diamond-point engraving reads "venini 7"; the signature certifies the piece's authenticity and unambiguously establishes the exact year of production of the work inside the Murano furnace.

Being a large specimen (H 48 cm), its valuation is far higher than the classic desk formats (24 or 36 cm).

Fine workmanship, with an air bubble on the neck formed during the process, excellent condition - ORIGINAL coming from my own collection enriched over the last thirty years with works from the leading Murano glassworks such as Venini, Barovier & Toso, Salviati, Archimede Seguso, Carlo Moretti, Seguso V.A., V. Nason & C., etc.
