Description from the seller
Collection of 8 old metal toy soldiers on horseback, depicted as historical cavalrymen in Napoleonic style.
The various riders wear detailed military uniforms and are equipped with, among other things, rifles, sabers and standards. The figures are made of cast metal and hand-painted. The horses are also individually detailed with saddles and tack.
The figures measure on average about 7 cm high × 7 cm long × 1–2 cm wide. They therefore belong to the traditional small metal collecting figures.
The set is in authentic used condition. There is visible paint loss, wear and discoloration appropriate to age. In some protruding parts there may be deformations or damage. The figures have not been restored or repainted.
Quantity: 8 pieces
Dimensions: approx. 7 × 7 × 1–2 cm per figure
Material: cast metal
Finish: hand-painted
Representation: historical/Napoleonic cavalry
Dating: presumably first half to mid 20th century
Maker: unknown / unmarked
Offered as one complete group of 8 riders. See the photos for the exact condition and execution.
