Pair of bronze horsemen – 20th Century.

Pair of decorative sculptures representing cavalrymen on horseback in motion. Each figure holds a curved sword and a circular shield, ornamented with relief floral motifs.

Executed in cast bronze, they feature detailed attire, turbans, saddles and horse ornaments. They retain an attractive brown and gold patina, with natural greenish oxidation in some areas. The sculptures are mounted on darkened wooden bases, semicircular in shape.

Par de esculturas decorativas representando guerreiros de cavalaria, montados em cavalos em movimento. Cada figura segura uma espada curva e um escudo circular, ornamentado com motivos florais em relevo.

Executadas em bronze fundido, apresentam pormenorização no vestuário, turbantes, arreios e ornamentos dos cavalos. Conservam uma atraente pátina castanha e dourada, com oxidação esverdeada natural em algumas zonas. As esculturas encontram-se fixadas a bases de madeira escurecida, de formato semicircular.
