Tutsi Basket - Bogolan (mud cloth) - Mali (No reserve price)

These two cotton cloths (140×110 cm + 130×80 cm) from Mali I acquired in the 1990s for my textile collection. They are traditional mud cloths with various geometric patterns.
The cloths are each sewn together from about seven strips, each roughly 15–20 cm wide.
