Silver 5 Pesos coin minted in Madrid during Alfonso XIII's minority, depicted on the obverse with the well-known child portrait in left profile, of academic style and great sobriety. The reverse shows the crowned Coat of Arms of Spain between the Pillars of Hercules with the ribbons bearing the motto PLUS ULTRA, a composition characteristic of Restoration emissions. The specimen preserves a large part of the original details in the bust, the shield and the crown, presenting moderate and uniform wear typical of limited circulation, in line with the AU55 grade. The fields retain traces of original luster under an attractive gray-silver patina, with light surface marks typical of its use. This piece belongs to one of the most emblematic series of Spanish numismatics, minted in the early years of Alfonso XIII's effective reign and highly valued by collectors of Restoration silver coinage.
