On auction, a true masterpiece in the history of high fidelity: the solid-state preamplifier Mark Levinson ML-1, produced in the United States between 1977 and 1980. Designed under the direct supervision of Mark Levinson and based on the legendary JC-2 circuit, the ML-1 was one of the very first transistor preamplifiers to prove that it was possible to achieve a sonorous purity, warmth, and three-dimensionality without the assistance of valves.
This unit operates entirely in Class A and is renowned for its exceptional transparency, musicality, and dynamics. The front panel features the classic black anodized finish with the iconic silver knobs. It internally includes the premium and rare shielded phono modules.
