Artistic subject: The motif portrays a couple in 18th-century dress set in a garden, a famous Rococo iconography known among collectors as the “Courting Couple” or “Fragonard Love Scene.” Vintage coffee or tea service in porcelain, entirely gilded, featuring central medallions with gallant courting scenes in the style of the painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
