Office chair - Textile, Wood, Aluminium - Klöber Model 840 Office

Klöber – Model 840 Office Chair – Germany – 1979

This original Klöber Model 840 office swivel chair was manufactured in October 1979 in Germany according to the manufacturer’s label and is an authentic example of high-quality German industrial design from the late 1970s.

The chair combines functional ergonomics with a distinctive design language and impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship. The generously padded seating and backrest are covered with the original brown fabric and are framed by characteristic aluminum side panels as well as black steel-tube armrests. The height-adjustable swivel base with a polished aluminum star-foot and casters completes the timeless design.

Thanks to its comfortable padding and sturdy construction, the chair is suitable both as a functional desk chair and as a stylish design object. The combination of warm brown and aluminum gives it the typical character of premium office furnishings from the 1970s.

The chair is in good original vintage condition. It shows age-related signs of wear such as light scratches on the aluminum frame and a subtle patina of the fabric covering, which underscore its authentic character. The original manufacturer’s label under the seating surface is intact and confirms production in October 1979.

A high-quality design classic from German production, well-suited for collectors, design enthusiasts, or stylish use in living or work areas.
