Calligaris Italy Dining Set, 1980s

A striking 1980s Italian dining set by Calligaris, combining the clean, functional aesthetic of Italian modernism with a distinctly industrial character. The set comprises a rectangular cream-white laminate dining table with a substantial top and geometric metal base, surrounded by six matching black molded chairs.

The chairs feature deep, gently curved seats and backrests in black, supported by slender chrome-plated tubular steel frames. Their lightweight construction contrasts nicely with the more substantial table, giving the ensemble a balanced and contemporary appearance.
