Enzo Mari (1932–2020) for Alessi – An "Arran" Rectangular Serving Tray, Designed 1961

An "Arran" rectangular serving tray, originally designed in 1961 by Enzo Mari (Italian, 1932–2020) for Danese Milano, and produced here as a contemporary re-edition by Alessi. Constructed from a cold-formed 18/10 stainless steel (inox) sheet, this vibrant example features a factory-applied yellow epoxy resin lacquered finish.

The minimalist, rational design relies entirely on precision structural folding along the perimeter, creating upturned short edges that natively function as handles. Stamped with maker's mark to the underside.

Measurements: 48 x 25 cm z 2 cm
Condition: Very good overall condition, minor surface scuffs.
