Vintage Cylindrical Jewelry Box in Bronze and Genuine Malachite Mosaic. Neoclassical / Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Modern.
Structure and decorative rings in solid bronze with patina of time; complete surface covered in textured mosaic and panels of genuine malachite (exterior and inner bottom).
Distinctive and heavy cylindrical jewelry box, built with a robust bronze structure. The exterior and the interior bottom are entirely clad with inlays of authentic malachite, displaying its natural geometric patterns, concentric veining, and varying tones ranging from vibrant emerald green to nearly black dark green. The body simulates horizontal bands delineated by bronze hoops that show rich oxidation and original patina. The hollow bronze interior with the noble polished stone bottom makes this piece an exquisite and timeless collector’s item.
Excellent vintage condition. The bronze shows wear and patina consistent with age. The malachite is well preserved, maintaining its polish and structural integrity.
