Late Cretaceous – approx. 96 million years
Size:
- Total tooth length: 3.6 cm
Fossil description:
Spectacular abelisaurid tooth of very fine quality, an exceptional specimen among African theropods of the Cretaceous. Despite its compact size, it features an elegant curvature, very attractive dark tones and enamel in excellent condition, glossy and uniform.
Retains a very pronounced cutting edge on both carinae, a key trait of abelisaurids, specialized predators that dominated various regions of the southern hemisphere. Its preservation is outstanding.
Ideal fossil for both advanced collectors and those seeking a high-quality specimen with great aesthetic presence.
