The set is made of high-quality silvered metal, with cylindrical bakelite/black wood handles that create a pleasant color contrast with the shiny surfaces.
The piece bears on the bottom the MAM mark (Metalli Artistici Milano), with the inscription "Inalterabile a 1000/1000 – Made in Italy", a distinctive mark of Italian production of fine silverware from the 1970s. The soft, square geometric shapes, typical of the milanese industrial design language of the era, stylistically align with contemporary productions by Sambonet and San Marco.
