IKEA - ikea - Lamp - Rapid – Type A9202 - Metal, Plastic

Vintage IKEA Rapid table lamp, Type A9202, dating from the late 1980s, around 1988.
An interesting example of IKEA's postmodern design of the period, characterized by a minimalist and strongly geometric structure. The lamp features a black circular base, an articulated central body, and the characteristic two long curved arms that support the adjustable light source.
Made mainly of black-painted metal, it operates at 12 V, maximum 20 W, as stated on the original IKEA label present on the specimen.
The lamp has been tested and is fully functional and is complete with its power transformer.
It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of wear and use, small marks and superficial imperfections consistent with its age. It has not been restored, in order to preserve its original appearance.
