Antique bronze tazza, designed as a classical Greco-Roman kantharos (drinking cup). Circa 1850-1890. Probably produced as a so-called 'Grand Tour' souvenir for wealthy travelers in Italy or France.

Patinated bronze with a beautiful, dark patina. The bowl section is hand-hammered, the base and the handles are solidly cast.

Condition: In good, antique condition with a beautiful patina. No dents or cracks. And a few white spots.

This lot will be carefully packed and insured shipped with track and trace.

Antieke bronzen tazza, vormgegeven als een klassieke Grieks-Romeinse kantharos (drinkbeker). Ca. 1850-1890. Vermoedelijk vervaardigd als een zogenaamd 'Grand Tour'-souvenir voor welgestelde reizigers in Italië of Frankrijk. 

Gepatineerd brons met een prachtig, donker patina. Het komgedeelte is handgehamer, de voet en de handvaten zijn massief gegoten. 

Conditie: In goede, antieke staat en een prachtig patina. Geen deuken of scheuren. Her en de wat witte vlekjes.
