I. Saha - Tea cup - .813 silver - Fins Tea Glass Holder - 1908

For sale: Fabulous antique Art Nouveau tea glass holder / podstakannik from 1908.

Signed by I. Saha, a well-known Finnish silversmith active in St. Petersburg around 1900. Saha produced luxurious silverwork for the Russian and Finnish nobility. His pieces are highly sought after by collectors of Art Nouveau and Finnish-Russian silver today.

This specimen features beautifully openwork decoration with leaf shapes and a typical Jugendstil handle. The original patina has been well preserved and not polished.
